The author, Martin Dixon is a biochemist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) who has been working with medicinal mushrooms since 1992. Co-editor of the Clinical Journal of Mycology from 1997-2009, he lectures internationally on medicinal mushrooms and herbal medicine.
